The Age of Missing Information

Some of you may remember the Gov't Translucency Scale I introduced a week ago. Apparently, things are worse than I thought—but that's nothing new. A concerned reporter friend sent me this Slate article on the withdrawal of oodles of valuable information from gov't websites—the vast majority of it not a threat to national security if it remained public.
